Rules for Submitting
The Deborah Wills Chapbook contest is open to any poet who has not yet published a book of poems (either trade collection or chapbook). Individual poems from the manuscript may have been previously published in journals, magazines, or online.
Please read the following rules carefully. Failure to comply with the formatting guidelines will disqualify your manuscript from consideration for the prize.
Your name and contact info must not appear anywhere on your manuscript. Please include a separate cover letter in the space provided with your full contact details and the name of your manuscript.
The file must be in MS Word, .rtf, or .pdf format. File name should be formatted: firstname_lastname_title
Your manuscript must be formatted on 8.5x11” pages, in a standard font and size.
Maximum of 12 pages of poetry (13 pages with a title page - do not include your name on the title page).
